A specialized BIM and drafting support company built for plumbing and fire protection contractors in New York City and beyond.
Draft It was founded by a designer with over 7 years of hands-on plumbing and fire protection drafting experience in New York City's commercial construction market. We've worked on everything from high-rise towers and healthcare facilities to schools and hotel renovations — always on the contractor side of the table.
We built Draft It because we saw a consistent gap in the market: contractors needed fast, accurate, technically literate drafting support — and most drafting services didn't understand how construction actually works. We do.
Our work is built around your schedule, your submittal deadlines, and your coordination meetings — not a standard office timeline.
Three principles that guide every project we take on.
Every drawing is checked before it leaves our desk. We catch coordination conflicts, dimension errors, and code issues so you don't find them in the field. Accuracy is not optional — it's the baseline.
Contractor schedules don't wait. We operate on 48–72 hour turnarounds as standard, with rush delivery available for critical submittals. We move at the pace of the job site.
You'll always know where your project stands. Direct communication, fast responses, and proactive flagging of issues before they become problems. No chasing, no radio silence.
We work in the same tools your project team uses — no format conversions, no compatibility issues.
We build coordinated models, not just flat drawings. Everything is clash-checked and trade-coordinated from the start.
Standard 48–72 hour delivery. We work around your submittal schedule, not a standard office calendar.
DOB submissions, NYC fire code, SCA school projects, DOE requirements — we know the local landscape.
We understand submittals, RFIs, AHJ reviews, and field coordination — because that's where we come from.
Every drawing set goes through internal review before delivery. We find the problems before the AHJ does.
We commit to deadlines and we meet them. Your project schedule is treated as a real constraint, not a suggestion.
Send us your project scope and let's figure out how Draft It can support your team.
